When meeting a client for the first time, Celeste spends time finding out what the clients needs from the curtains. Options include a simple 100% cotton lining, adding interlining to keep out draughts from period windows or black out fabric to keep out light in a new baby’s bedroom. Celeste can advise on the most suitable lining for the situation and also help choose a decorative outer fabric that is both beautiful and functional.
Curtains are made by hand using a sewing machine, with the hems hand stitched for a high quality finish. Optional extras can include hand sewn double or triple pleat headers (as an alternative to machined header tape) and weighting in the curtain corners comes as standard. Celeste will source all linings and headings and can also source decorative outer fabric and advise on hanging systems should clients wish.
When the curtains are complete, Celeste will visit your home to hang the curtains on your existing or newly fitted pole or hanging system.
