Roman blinds are a very popular way to cover a window. Being both beautiful and economical, they often require less fabric than curtains. Hespera Home can also supply roller blinds both made to measure using a specific fabric or supply voile weight blinds from a trusted supplier. When meeting a client for the first time, Celeste spends time finding out what they need from the blinds.

Design and fabric

When planning the design of the blinds, options include fitting inside a window reveal or covering the window reveal completely, placing the blind within the recess can help to keep the light out.
Celeste can advise on blind placing, a choice of fabrics for the blind and will source the top fabric.

Chain system

When making roman blinds we use a metal headrail which encases the drive and cord houses, enabling the cords to be wound up securely. A metal chain is used to operate the blind, thus allowing the blind to be fixed at any height removing the need to wind the cord around a cleat. More and more clients are requesting motorised blinds and these can be provided with rechargeable batteries or hardwired.
Hespera home will source all headrails & blind linings, and deliver the finished blinds.

Fitting

Hespera Home is happy to recommend a fitter to fit blinds although this can also be done quite easily by the client. Motorised blinds can be fitted by our fitter, hard wired blinds need an electrical supply and battery charged blinds would need charging every 6/12 months depending on how often they are used. Our fitter is happy to run through how to do this.
